Stores

A store is your online shop where customers browse and buy your products. You can have multiple stores depending on your plan.

Create a Store

Each store has its own URL, products, categories, and orders — completely separate from your other stores.

  1. From the dashboard, go to Stores in the sidebar.
  2. Click Create New Store.
  3. Enter a Store Name (this is the display name customers see).
  4. Choose a Username (this becomes your store URL, e.g. rajmarket.com/yourname). Usernames must be unique.
  5. Click Create Store.

Your store username cannot be changed easily later. Choose something short and memorable.

Store Limits by Plan

The number of stores you can create depends on your subscription plan.

Plan Max Stores Max Products (per store)
Free 1 25
Plus 2 150
Pro 5 500

Edit Store Info

You can update your store name and other basic info at any time.

  1. Go to your store from the Stores list.
  2. Click Edit or the pencil icon.
  3. Update the Store Name or other fields.
  4. Click Save Changes.

Publish Your Store

New stores start as a Draft — they're hidden from the public. When you're ready, publish your store to make it live.

  1. Open your store from the dashboard.
  2. Find the Status toggle (Draft / Published).
  3. Switch it to Published.
  4. Save your changes.

Once published, your store is visible to anyone with the link. Make sure your products and info are ready before going live.

Store Settings

In Settings, you can control how your store is presented to visitors and search engines.

Display & SEO

Setting What it does
Display Name The name shown in the store header to customers.
SEO Meta Title The title shown in Google search results for your store.
SEO Meta Description A short description shown under your store's link in search results.
SEO Meta Keywords Comma-separated keywords that describe your store (optional).
Robots Controls whether search engines index your store. Leave as default unless you have a specific reason to change it.
Favicon A small icon shown in the browser tab for your store. Upload a PNG, JPG, or ICO file.
Currency The currency used to display prices in your store.

Store visibility status

You can set your store to one of several visibility states:

Status What customers see
Draft Store is hidden. Only accessible via a preview link.
Coming Soon Customers see a "Coming Soon" page instead of your store.
Under Working Customers see a maintenance notice.
Published Store is fully live and visible to everyone.
Closed Store is marked as closed. Customers cannot place orders.

Order notifications

You can enable or disable Order Email Notifications from the settings page. When enabled, you'll receive an email each time a customer places an order.

To update settings: open your store → go to Settings → make changes → click Save.

Connect a Custom Domain

You can connect your own domain (e.g., shop.yourbrand.com) to your Raj Market store so customers visit your branded URL instead of the default one.

How it works

Raj Market uses DNS verification to confirm you own the domain before routing traffic to your store. You'll need to add two types of DNS records with your domain registrar: a TXT record for verification and a CNAME or A record to point the domain to Raj Market's servers.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open your store from the dashboard and go to Settings.
  2. Find the Custom Domain section and enter your domain (e.g., shop.yourbrand.com).
  3. Click Connect Domain. You'll be shown the DNS records you need to add.
  4. Log in to your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare) and go to the DNS settings for your domain.
  5. Add the TXT record shown on the screen — this proves you own the domain. The record name and value are displayed in your store settings.
  6. Add the CNAME or A record shown on the screen — this points your domain to Raj Market's servers.
  7. Save the DNS changes. DNS propagation can take a few minutes up to 48 hours depending on your provider.
  8. Once propagation is complete, click Verify in your store settings. Raj Market will check your DNS and activate the custom domain.

The exact DNS record values (TXT name, CNAME target, or IP address) are shown in your store's Settings → Custom Domain section after you enter your domain. Do not use values from external sources — only use what's shown in your dashboard.

Custom domain support is available on Plus and Pro plan only. If you don't see the option in Settings, you may need to upgrade your plan.

Tips for domain registrars

  • For subdomains (like shop.yourbrand.com), add a CNAME record pointing to the target shown in your dashboard.
  • For root domains (like yourbrand.com), use an A record if your registrar doesn't support CNAME flattening.
  • If you use Cloudflare, make sure the proxy (orange cloud) is disabled on the DNS record during verification.
  • Once verified, you can re-enable Cloudflare's proxy if desired.

Preview Mode

Want to share your store with someone before it's published? Use a Preview Key.

  1. Go to your store's Settings page.
  2. Click Generate Preview Key.
  3. Copy the preview link and share it with anyone you want.

Preview links let people view your store even if it's in draft mode. The link includes a special key, so only people with the link can see it.

Delete a Store

Deleting a store permanently removes it along with all its products, categories, and orders.

This action cannot be undone. Make sure you want to delete the store before proceeding.

  1. Open your store from the dashboard.
  2. Scroll to the danger zone or find the Delete Store option.
  3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
