Options & Extras

What are Options?

Options are choices a customer makes before adding a product to their cart. Think of them as customizations like size, color, or flavor.

For example, a pizza product might have an option called Size with values: Small, Medium, Large.

• Each option has a name (e.g., "Size") and one or more values (e.g., "Small", "Medium", "Large").
• Options are created at the store level and can be assigned to any product in that store.
• Customers must select a value before they can add the product to their cart.

Add an Option

1. Open your store and go to Options in the sidebar.
2. Click Add Option.
3. Enter the Option Name (e.g., "Color", "Size", "Spice Level").
4. Add the values for that option (e.g., "Red", "Blue", "Green").
5. Click Save.

Edit or Delete an Option

To edit an option: go to Options, click the Edit icon, make changes, and save.

To delete an option: click the Delete icon and confirm. This removes the option from all products it was assigned to.

What are Extras?

Extras are optional add-ons that customers can include with their order for an additional cost.

For example, a sandwich shop might offer extras like Extra Cheese (+Rs. 50), Sauce Pack (+Rs. 20), or Gift Wrap (+Rs. 100).

• Each extra has a name and an additional price.
• Extras are optional — customers can choose to include them or skip them.
• Like options, extras are created at the store level and linked to products.

Add an Extra

1. Open your store and go to Extras in the sidebar.
2. Click Add Extra.
3. Enter the Extra Name (e.g., "Extra Sauce", "Gift Wrapping").
4. Set the Additional Price for this extra.
5. Click Save.
