Categories

Categories help customers navigate your store. Group related products together so they're easy to find.

What are Categories?

A category is a group of related products. For example, if you sell food, you might have categories like Burgers, Drinks, and Desserts.

Customers can browse your store by category, making it easier to find what they're looking for. Categories also appear as navigation links in your store.

Keep category names short and clear. 1–3 words is ideal (e.g., "Hot Drinks", "Women's Tops", "Gift Items").

Add a Category

  1. Open your store from the dashboard and go to Categories.
  2. Click Add Category.
  3. Enter a Category Name.
  4. Optionally add a description or image if supported.
  5. Click Save.

The new category will appear in your store and you can start assigning products to it.

Edit a Category

  1. Go to your store's Categories page.
  2. Find the category you want to update.
  3. Click the Edit (pencil) icon.
  4. Update the name or details.
  5. Click Save.

Delete a Category

  1. Go to your store's Categories page.
  2. Find the category you want to remove.
  3. Click the Delete (trash) icon.
  4. Confirm in the popup.

Deleting a category does not delete the products inside it. Products will just be uncategorized.

Reorder Categories

The order of categories controls how they appear in your store's navigation.

  1. Go to your store's Categories page.
  2. Click and hold the drag handle next to a category.
  3. Drag it to your preferred position.
  4. The order saves automatically.

Reorder Products in a Category

You can also control the order products appear within each category.

  1. Go to Categories and click on a category.
  2. You'll see a list of products assigned to it.
  3. Drag and drop products to change their order.
  4. Changes are saved automatically.
